Warehouse Operative - Nights - Kingswinford

We are now seeking an Experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in Kingswinford.

00.00am to 7.00am Tuesday to Saturday. Salary £ 15057.96

Key Roles / Responsibilities

  • Loading, unloading trailers, an element of manual handling is required
  • Operation of forklift truck (licence required)
  • Checking of Manifests including checking for damages or missing items
  • Scanning and checking consignments
  • Sortation of consignments
  • Good Housekeeping to include keeping warehouse clear of waste and rubbish
  • Strict adherence to Health & Safety rules
  • Taking goods to the appropriate locations, perhaps using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods, like washing machines
  • Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
  • Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
  • Deal with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure
  • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report an areas of concern to Supervisor/Foreman immediately
  • Put improvement suggestions forward where appropriate.
  • Assist other team members as necessary
  • Support Warehouse Supervisor/Foreman with all day to day tasks
  • To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business

Have previous warehouse experience and be able to provide a work related reference

In addition, have the confidence to be able to work on own initiative and be effective with minimum supervision and be self-motivated
