Warehouse Operative Nights - Mallusk

We are now seeking an Experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in Mallusk.

Full time Monday to Friday 2100 to 0600 - Salary £ 21,320

Key Roles / Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading trailers an element of manual handling will be required
  • Operation of forklift truck (licence required)
  • Checking of Manifests including checking for damages or missing items
  • Scanning and checking consignments
  • Sortation of consignments
  • Good Housekeeping to include keeping warehouse clear of waste and rubbish
  • Strict adherence to Health & Safety rules
  • Assisting drivers for vehicle prep, loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Taking goods to the appropriate locations perhaps using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods, like washing machines.
  • Keep paperwork up to date
  • Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
  • Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
  • Deal with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure
  • Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight errors and damages prior to completion
  • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report an area of concern to Team Leader immediately
  • Put improvement suggestions forward where appropriate
  • Assist other team members as necessary
  • Support Warehouse Team Leader with all day-to-day tasks
  • To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business
  • Any other reasonable request by management
